Safety Patrol Hours (not on duty if the wind chill is below 0 degrees)) Safeties arrive at their posts at 8:15 AM. After school, they are on their posts until 3:45 PM (12:30 PM on half-days).
Early Pick Up All students must be signed out at the office. The office will call the classroom and notify the teacher that the student is leaving, and the student will come to the office. Students will only be released to adults indicated on emergency cards or in a personal letter.
Absences Parents are to notify the school in the event a child will be absent or late. Calling the absence line, 823-3601, before 8:10 AM. ensures the safety of your child. Parents of p.m. kindergartners should call by noon.
Changes in After-School Plans We will proceed with your child's normal after school arrangements (riding a bus, walking, being picked up, going to C.A.R.E.) unless there is a note signed by a parent indicating other arrangements. For example, if your child normally rides the bus, but is walking home to a friend's house, you need to send in a note granting your permission for this change. Children cannot use the phone during school to make last-minute social plans.
